DESCRIPTION
The Global Chief Technology Officer (CTO) is responsible for the comprehensive technological vision, strategy, and execution across Rocket Multinational Services' global operations. This position serves as the primary technological architect and strategist for the organization, driving innovation, digital transformation, and technological excellence worldwide. The role requires exceptional strategic leadership in artificial intelligence, automation, renewable energy technologies, cloud infrastructure, and emerging technologies, ensuring technological superiority that directly strengthens the company's competitive advantage and global expansion capabilities.
The Global CTO works directly with the Global Founder & CEO, Board of Directors, and Regional CEOs to align technological initiatives with business objectives across all markets. This position must balance visionary leadership to shape the company's technological future while ensuring robust, secure, and scalable infrastructure to support current operations. The role combines executive-level strategic thinking with deep technological expertise, always prioritizing innovation, information security, business continuity, and technological readiness for future market opportunities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Global Technology Strategy and Innovation Leadership
- Develop and execute a comprehensive technology strategy aligned with Rocket's global business objectives and expansion plans
- Drive the development and implementation of artificial intelligence, robotics, automation, and renewable energy technology initiatives across all business units
- Lead quantum computing and blockchain research and development for healthcare and finance applications
- Establish and oversee the School of Artificial Intelligence as a center of technological innovation and excellence
- Identify and capitalize on disruptive technological opportunities that can create competitive advantage
- Create a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and technological excellence throughout the organization
- Lead strategic technology planning across Rocket Multinational Services and all subsidiaries
Global Technology Infrastructure and Operations
- Direct the deployment and scaling of global cloud infrastructures (AWS, Azure, Starlink Solar integrations)
- Oversee the development and maintenance of technology standards, architectures, and policies across all global operations
- Ensure robust cybersecurity compliance (HIPAA, GDPR, TCPA) and comprehensive disaster recovery planning
- Establish and maintain effective IT governance frameworks across all business units and regions
- Guide the evolution of the company's technological infrastructure to support business growth and changing market demands
- Evaluate and implement emerging technologies to optimize operational efficiency and create new business capabilities
Strategic Partnerships and Vendor Management
- Identify, establish, and manage strategic technology partnerships that enhance the company's capabilities and market position
- Oversee vendor relationships, master service agreements, and licensing across the global technology ecosystem
- Negotiate enterprise-level technology contracts and service level agreements
- Manage technology acquisition strategy, including potential technology company acquisitions or investments
- Represent Rocket at high-level industry forums, conferences, and technology leadership events
- Build relationships with technology thought leaders, research institutions, and innovation hubs globally
Global Team Leadership and Development
- Lead and develop global IT and engineering teams in the U.S., India, Colombia, and additional Rocket locations
- Recruit, develop, and retain world-class technology talent aligned with the company's current and future needs
- Provide direct supervision to the Global Facility and IT Support Engineer and other senior technology leaders
- Establish clear expectations, performance metrics, and career development pathways for technology teams
- Foster cross-functional collaboration between technology teams and business units
- Develop leadership capabilities within the technology organization to support succession planning
Executive Leadership and Governance
- Serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, contributing to overall corporate strategy and decision-making
- Participate in a fiduciary capacity on Rocket's Board of Directors innovation and technology committees
- Provide regular strategic technology briefings to the Board of Directors and executive leadership
- Ensure all technology initiatives deliver measurable business value and return on investment
- Collaborate with the CFO on technology budgeting, investment prioritization, and resource allocation
- Work closely with legal and compliance teams to ensure all technology operations meet regulatory requirements
